To address the challenges that HII was facing, the company approached Big Top to see if we could bring their vision to life. Working together, large-scale rolling covers were created to effectively solve all challenges: covering operations for protection and efficiency. The rolling covers operate on automated rail systems, creating a more streamlined process. Moving large pieces and parts is much simpler, as cranes can now reach inside the structure to lift parts in or out. Equipment and personnel are protected from environmental elements, helping reduce the need for breaks and minimizing the risk of heat-related illnesses. Through increased efficiency, fewer work interruptions, and reduced costs associated with employees getting sick, HII has been able to improve their overall operations.
