Multipurpose Shelter Systems for Military Institutions
The versatility of Big Top’s fabric military shelter systems makes them ideal for nearly any application required by military or other rapid-response organizations. They can be built to nearly any size, spanning up to 174 feet wide and 80 feet tall, and, thanks to their modular design, they can be resized after assembly to keep pace with changing requirements. For instance, length can be adjusted by adding or removing modules, and the side and end walls can be raised, lowered, or removed completely.
Ensuring Mission Readiness
Our fabric military shelter systems can be deployed nearly anywhere in the world and can be assembled quickly at a rate of 2,500 square feet per day. They do not require a concrete pad as a foundation and can be anchored to nearly anything, even asphalt. This allows them to be installed directly on the flight line for use as hangars or sunshades, and makes them an ideal option for Agile Combat Employment applications.
Approved by the USACE for Air Force Applications
Big Top’s fabric structures are approved by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as being compliant with U.S. Air Force Sunshade Management (AFSM), Air Force Instruction (AFI), and International Building Code (IBC). Additionally, they are Berry Amendment compliant.
